President Donald Trump is starting to publicly claim victory in Operation Epic Fury, stating that the Islamic Republic of Iran “has been beaten and completely decimated…both militarily, economically, and every other way.”
Not that this outcome was ever in question. But we’ve hit more than 6,000 targets in only two weeks, and by any measure, that is a military a**-whipping.
His message encourages nations to deploy naval assets to the Strait of Hormuz to secure this vital shipping lane and protect global oil transfers. “The Countries of the World that receive Oil through the Hormuz Strait must take care of that passage, and we will help — A LOT,” Trump posted on social media on Saturday.
On Saturday, President Trump announced that the United States would be increasing its naval presence in the Strait. He urged major maritime nations around the world to join this initiative. While he mentioned that some partner nations have already committed resources to the effort, he did not specify which countries were involved.
“The U.S. will also coordinate with those Countries so that everything goes quickly, smoothly, and well. This should have always been a team effort, and now it will be — It will bring the World together toward Harmony, Security, and Everlasting Peace,” Trump said in his social media post.
Social media posts suggest that Trump has long had plans to weaken the Iranian regime by deploying a large number of assets to the Strait.
Besides being a strong leader, Trump is also a visionary. Democrats have no one who even comes close.
