AOC Opens Her Sizable Mouth, Inserts Foot Over Remark Regarding Tenn. Redistricting
I initially gave the Democrats some benefit of the doubt regarding the Tennessee redistricting conflict, which escalated into chaos at the state capitol when a new map was implemented following the Louisiana v. Callais decision.
This decision restricted the Voting Rights Act’s protections to bar states from drawing up race-based congressional districts because, in our country under our Constitution, nothing can be based solely on race.
Now we have Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) sounding off, claiming that the new electoral map will eliminate all black representation in Congress.
Naturally, the theatrics reminiscent of Jim Crow spilled over in many ways

Tennessee only has one Democrat representative, and it’s whiter-than-white goofball Steve Cohen.

For the record, there are no Republican House members from New England, and there are tens of millions of Republican voters spread across those states.

But there are likely to be more black Republicans.
So, by all means, AOC, take a pill and just let it go. It’s probably going to be a lot healthier for you in the long run.
